York Puppy Yoga was born from a love of dogs and yoga - having bred our own fur-babies previously, and experienced the happiness and love they bring, we want to share the joy of dogs with the people of our home city of York.

The health, safety, and happiness of the puppies that join us, is always our top priority.

We work closely with ethical breeders and experienced handlers to ensure every puppy is comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout each session.

• Puppies participate for short, supervised periods with plenty of rest breaks during and between sessions

• Sessions are held in calm, temperature and light-controlled environments

• Puppies always have access to water, safe spaces, and their handlers

• No forced interaction — puppies are free to rest or play as they choose

• Numbers of attendees are limited to ensure the puppies are not overwhelmed

Our classes are designed to be enriching, low-stress, and age-appropriate, ensuring a positive experience for both puppies and participants. By booking a session, you’re supporting a business that values kindness, responsibility, and ethical animal care at every step.

• Puppies are sourced from reputable breeders or reputable rescue organisations.

• All puppies are over 8 weeks old, fully weaned, and assessed as suitable for participation.

• Attendance records are maintained to ensure puppies are not overstimulated.

Health & Veterinary Care

• Puppies follow age-appropriate vaccination and parasite-control programmes.

• Veterinary advice is sought where required.

• Puppies displaying signs of illness, injury, or distress are removed immediately and provided appropriate care.
